ABOUT ME
Dr. Rachel Conrad is an Eisenhower Fellow focusing on equity of access in mental health treatment. She is a independent consultant for philanthropic organizations, investment firms, and start ups seeking to understand mental health policy and systems. She is an expert witness on cases related to student mental health.
Dr. Conrad teaches medical ethics at Harvard Medical School and neuroethics at Harvard College. She is co-chair of the Harvard Neuroethics Hub.
Dr. Conrad studied Health and Societies at the University of Pennsylvania and completed an honors thesis about increasing access to HIV treatment in resource-limited settings. She worked as an associate consultant at Bain and Co. on healthcare strategy. Dr. Conrad attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine and received the department award in psychiatry. She completed general psychiatry residency at Emory University and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital. She has a fellowship in Bioethics at the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics.
Dr. Conrad was previously the medical director of the Division of Young Adult Mental Health at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the co-chair of the National College Mental Health Task Force.
